New from Smallbrook Studio, 'Elfin' is a Kerr Stewart 'Sirdar' class 0-4-0T in 16mm scale. The main bodywork is highly detailed in vacuum cast resin. The 32mm gauge version has it's own battery powered chassis included with Slaters wheels, brass worm drive and a powerful 4.5 high torque motor. The speed control is via the regulator and the reversing lever switches forward and reverse. All you need is glue paint and three 'AA' batteries. Elfin is also available as a bodywork only kit, which has been designed to fit the 45mm gauge LGB Stainz track powered chassis. Smallbrook studio are in the process of producing their own 45mm chassis which will be available shortly. This locomotive is suitable for radio control, as there is plenty of room within the boiler barrel.
