The Piko 35040 Pocket sized transmitter and receiver will allow you to operate your loco virtually anywhere, over dirty track, nonpowered track or even over the floor. The receiver is made to fit in many Piko locomotives the board is only 72mm long, 30mm wide and 15mm deep. It has screw terminals for easy installation and includes two relay type function contacts to operate a horn, whistle and bell on a separate sound unit. The receiver is designed to be battery powered but can be powered by a fixed, well filtered DC supply of 7 to 22 volts such as the DC voltage on the track. The pocket transmitter has eight selectable R/C channels allowing for multiple operators and multiple trains. Push button controls step up (or down) the speed in very smooth increments as good as a potentiometer. Full instructions show you how to install the receiver with or without an analogue sound unit.
